Athena Biotechnologies, Inc. was formed in January 2005 by the merger of PharmaLeads, Inc. and VerdiZyme, Inc. Prior to the merger, VerdiZyme acquired the assets of Optigenix, Inc.

Athena Biotechnologies, Inc. has unique and patented technologies for the discovery of currently non-culturable bacteria and for creating significant and valuable products for renewable energy, medical, pharmaceutical and agricultural uses.  AthenaBio is a privately-held, early-stage biotechnology company with current revenues, near-term opportunities and enormous upside growth potential.
