Mission

Athena Biotechnologies, Inc. is a privately held biotechnology company focused on developing bacteria as biocatalysts for biofuel production. New biocatalysts, and new ethanol production processes based upon those biocatalysts, will be licensed to companies interested in reducing the cost of ethanol and reducing CO₂ emissions during ethanol production.
